Day 1: Arrival in Tallinn - Matsalu
Wild Estonia Nature Tour is all about exploring Matsalu national park, the Estonian island world, Soma national park, etc. Arrive in Tallinn and drive to the west coast to Matsalu National Park. Move to the Baltic Sea, a short distance from a guest house. Observe elks and the birds and start hiking through Matsalu National Park.
Day 2: Explore the Baltic Sea and island hike
Today you visit the Estonian island worlds. Take a boat to Hiiumaa. We will stop to view Saarnaki island, historic farms and juniper forests.
Day 3: Enjoy Moose safari in Matsalu National Park
Look out for elks, beavers and rare birds in Matsalu National Park today. You can see different orchid species and other rare flowering plants. Explore on the boat at river Kasari and see Nordic geese, cranes, ducks, elks, bats and beavers.
Day 4: Travel to Lagoon town Haapsalu
Explore the lagoon town of Haapsalu. Explore impressive places like train stations, built entirely of wood, and the city's massive bishop's castle. And we will visit the Soomaa National Park.
Day 5: Enjoy a Canoe tour & moor shoe hike
Let's begin the canoe trip on the beautiful Raunda river. Ride past beaver castles, ancient tremor poplars, spruces and oaks. You can look at the imposing golden eagle and the shy black grouse.
Day 6: Enjoy Bear watching
More than 700 bears reside in the forest and moors of Estonia. In the afternoon, drive into the Alutaguse forest area. We can see the bear at dusk. Watch the rare grouse.
Day 7: Medieval Tallinn
Today we are travelling to Tallinn, Estonia's capital. We will go through the most intact medieval city in Europe.
Day 8: End of Wild Estonia Nature Tour
