Day 1: Athens
The taste of Greece Tour is about exploring the renowned destinations of Greece, such as Athens, Meteora, Olympia, and Delphi. After you arrive in Greece in the morning, transfer to the hotel where your tour starts. Today you will explore Athens's iconic sites and enjoy traditional Greek cuisine in the evening.
Day 2: Athens - Thermopylae - Kalambaka
You depart for Kalambaka this morning from Athens. Your major visits are the statue of Leonidas, Meteora landscapes and monasteries, Byzantine art workshop, set drive of the Meteora hills and view of the monolithic pillars.
Day 3: Kalambaka - Meteora (optional) - Delphi
Today it's free time in Kalambaka. So, you can rest or either explore the city on your own. This afternoon you will be transferred to Delphi and embark on an orientation tour upon arrival.
Day 4: Delphi - Trizonia island - Olympia
This morning it's free time in Delphi. After you explore the city on your own, you will be driven to ancient Olympia in the evening.
Day 5: Olympia - Mycenae - Nafplion
Today you will visit and explore Olympia's ancient site and arrive at Mycenae to visit the tomb of Agamemnon. Then you head towards Nafplion and check in at the hotel. The evening is the free time for you to rest r explore the nightlife on your own.
Day 6: Corinth Canal - Athens city tour - Acropolis (optional) - Athens
Depart from Nafplion to Athens. After you arrive in Athens, you will see top destinations such as the Academy, National Library, Greek parliament, Panathinaikos marble stadium, Hadrian’s Arch, and the temple of Olympian Zeus. The tour ends at the museum of the Acropolis, where you can choose the optional tour of the Acropolis site. In this optional tour, you continue on foot to the rock of the Acropolis, visiting the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Parthenon, the Erechtheion. Then you are free to explore Athens in your leisure time.
