Day 1: From Glasgow to the Highlands
Skye, The Highlands from Glasgow, is about exploring destinations such as the Isle of Skye, dramatic Rannoch Moor and haunting Glencoe, etc. After leaving Glasgow, we'll stop in Luss, a charming conservation community on the "Bonny, Bonny" banks of Loch Lomond.
Then we proceed past the eerie Rannoch Moor to enjoy the impressive Glencoe. We stop at the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range after lunch in the Fort William region to take pictures of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain, if there is time. On the Isle of Skye, in the quaint village of Portree, is where our voyage concludes.
Day 2: Explore the Isle of Skye
Following breakfast, we leave Portree. We keep moving forward so that we may see Duntulm Castle.
Day 3: End of Skye The Highlands from Glasgow tour
The popular Eilean Donan Castle serves as our starting point for the descent before we continue to Fort Augustus and the views of Loch Ness. Pitlochry's picturesque Victorian resort town serves as our final rest stop before continuing south across the Laggan and Grampian mountains and returning to Edinburgh.
