Day 1: UK to Basel
Arrive at the airport on yours. The World Tour Management team's representative will meet and greet you at the airport, get your ticket and catch a flight to Basel. On arrival, we transferred and boarded our ship for the light refreshments.
Day 2: Basel (Mount Rigi)
Your first visit to our Rhine river cruise is to Basel. Hop aboard a cogwheel train for an exciting journey to the top of Rigi Kulm, Mount Rigi's highest mountain. From the top, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the sparkling lakes and mountains below. Once you will enjoy your time here at the top, we'll take a ride down to Vitznau where you'll glide across the gorgeous Lake Lucerne on a relaxing boat.
Day 3: Breisach
Today, your cruise ride will take you to Breisach. You can join our optional excursion to discover the stunning and peaceful Lake Titisee on a cruise. Or you can enjoy your day pottering around the pretty, pastel-hued town, do as you, please.
Day 4: Strasbourg
Today will arrive in Strasbourg in the early morning after a day cruising along the Rhine river. Head out to explore this interesting Alsatian city, which is home to the European Parliament, many Gothic cathedrals, and an Old Town that is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Your today's exploration includes the canal cruise through the famed 'Petite France' waterways, where charming half-timbered houses line the route. The rest of the day is leisure in Strasbourg so do as you like.
Day 5: Speyer
Early this morning, our river cruise ship arrive in Speyer. You can choose to sign up for an extra tour of this conveniently walkable town, which is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and also serves as a mausoleum for various German emperors and kings. There is still some time for you guys to explore more of the city's history before we depart later this afternoon.
Day 6: Lorelei Passage to Koblenz
This morning, take a seat on the upper deck as we cruise along the most gorgeous section of the Rhine. As we travel through the picturesque Rhine Gorge and the twists and turns of the Lorelai Passage, we pass vast scenery and tiny settlements. This afternoon, join the tour to Koblenz, including a stop at the fortress that watched over the nearby city and waterways, Ehrenbreitstein.
Day 7: Bonn to Cologne
We wake up in the Bonn this morning and head out for a guided walking tour of the city's main sights such as the Beethoven monument, City Hall, cathedral, etc. We will make a short stop outside Beethoven's birthplace now a museum and chamber music hall. This afternoon, we cruise ride will take us to the magnificent city of Cologne. Join our optional walking tour to uncover its treasures.
Day 8: Cologne to Dusseldorf to UK
