Day 1: Transferring from Kathmandu to Dhunche
Langtang Region Exploration trip of a short Gosainkunda Lake trek encompasses you through some of the relatively unspoilt vicinity of Nepal. We will start the day with a drive from Kathmandu. It takes about 7 to 8 hours to drive northwest from Kathmandu to reach Dhunche, which is approximately 43.5 km.
Day 2: Walk from Dhunche to Sing Gompa( 3580 m)
Our second day of the trip includes a walk to Sing Gompa from Dhunche, which can take about 5 to 6 hours to finish the 7 km long trek of the day. We will hike through rhododendron and pine forest throughout the tour, watching the scenic beauty.
Day 3: Walk from Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda
The third day of our trip includes hiking for about 5 to 6 hours for 8.8 km to Gosaikunda from Sing Gompa; holy temples such as Gosaikunda Mahadev, Shiva Mandir, Trisuli Dhara can be explored during the destination. The religious surrounding of Gosaikunda lake has other glacier lakes, including Nikantha Lake, Surya Lake, Bhairab Lake, and so on.
Day 4: Walk from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa
On the fourth day of our Gosaikunda lake trip, we will walk from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa. The trek will be about five to6 hours long at an altitude of 3580 meters. During the tour, we will pass through Lauribinayak, looking at the huge soaring views of vibrant hills and mountains.
Day 5: Walk from Gosaikunda to Dhunche
On the fifth day of the short Gosaikunda lake, walking encompasses a 5 to 6 hours walk from Sing Gompa to Dhunche at a height of 1764 meters. We will explore the Dhunche helicopter and Kapan Monastery around the area during the trek.
Day 6: End of Langtang Region Exploration tour
On the last day of our trip, on the sixth day, we will drive for about 7 to 8 eight hours from Dhunche to Kathmandu at a height of 1400 meters. The drive shortly ends our journey of short Gosaikunda lake trekking.
