Day 1: Arrival
Hiking in Gauja National Park is about hiking and exploring the top destinations such as Riga castle, Black Alder Swamp, etc. Arrive at the Riga International Airport and move to the hotel.
Day 2: Art Nouveau Pearls in Riga
Explore the Old Town, and see Riga Castle and the oldest dwellings in the city. Visit Riga Central Market. In the Afternoon, we got ready for a hiking tour to Kemeri National Park. For hiking, move around Kemeri Historical resort, Black Alder Swamp and the Great Swamp of Kemeri.
Day 3: Hilly Hike
On this day, explore Sigulda and enjoy hiking up and down the hills in Gauja National Park. In the valley of the Gauja River, Curl's hike grants one of the most scenic views. Visit a paper-mill village called Ligatne.
Day 4: Sandstone Cliffs and a Lake Fortress
In the morning, move for a hike along the Ligatne River. In the Afternoon you can move to Araisi Archaeological Park.
Day 5: The Medieval Gemstone Cesis
Explore Latvia's third oldest town Cesis. Visit the history and feel the medieval spirit in the candlelight. Visit Rucamavots.
Day 6: Hike Along the Garezeri Lakes
Hike along the Garezeri Lakes and the Baltic Sea in the Afternoon. After a hike, I returned to Riga.
Day 7: End of Hiking in Gauja National Park
