Day 1: Start from Madrid
Highlights of Spain & Portugal are about experiencing the culture, rich history and food in the destinations like Madrid, Porto, and Seville. After you arrive in Madrid, our team will welcome you and take you safely to the hotel rooms. After everyone is gathered in the hotel, it's time to explore beautiful Madrid, the capital of Spain. Then, you can choose between free time or enjoying the taste of Spain in Madrid. This evening, you will have the taste of Spain at an included welcome dinner.
Day 2: Toledo to Granada
This morning you will head towards this beautiful Toledo's UNESCO World Heritage city. Your tour will continue to the south of the Moorish city of Granada. Your local tour expert guide will explain the history, culture and highlights of this beautiful place, Granada, in detail.
Day 3: Ronda - Seville
The journey through Andalusia continues today. Explore the city of Granada, or join our optional excursion to the Alhambra Palace
In addition, to the lovely Moorish and Medieval history, Granada is a gorgeous city packed with street art, culture and amazing restaurants. After a morning exploring this gorgeous city, find your way to Ronda.
The day's final destination takes you to the enchanting city of Seville. You will stop and enjoy a traditional tapas dinner followed by a driving and walking tour accompanied by our local expert guide. This is the best way to take the streets of Seville to get into this place's culture and taste.
Day 4: Free day
Today is the free time for you to spend and explore beautiful and appealing Seville on your own. This city is most famous for its flamenco, orange bars, and tapas bars. The old town's cobbled streets make for a pleasant morning stroll, while in the evening, you may visit Metropol Parasol for spectacular views, the museum of Flamenco, and so on.
Day 5: Travel Algarve and Lisbon
Today, with your local guide, you will travel to Lisbon, Portugal; along the way, you will also make your visit to the Algarve, the beautiful southern coastal region of Portugal, which features limestone cliffs and golden beaches. After arriving in Lisbon, you will have an orientation tour of the capital, from the Sao Jorge Castle to the pastel colours of the ancient town, Lisbon.
Day 6: Leisure Day in Lisbon
Today, it's your free day to explore this beautiful Lisbon on your own. You can visit Lisbon landmarks consisting, including Monuments to the Discoveries and the Belem Tower, or discover the hilltop district of Bairro Alto. Or you can also join the excursion to Sintra, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site village and the capital in Portugal renowned for its appealing monuments.
Day 7: Tour From Obidos to Porto
On your visit to Porto, you will stop in Obidos, a classic fortified city with picturesque houses and imposing hilltop castles. Then head towards Portugal and explore Porto, the oldest European centre. And, this afternoon, you will also taste the famous exports, i.e.Port wine.
Day 8: Tour to Guarda - Salamanca
You will depart from Portugal and go back to Spain. Before reaching Portugal, you will make your visit to Guarda. Then after arriving in Salamanca, you will have the free time to rest or explore the city as you like. For your visit, you would like to suggest to you the Cathedral Bell Tower, which provides an amazing view of the town and its beautiful surroundings. Later, to end your day, you will have a farewell dinner offering three-course meal food around the beautiful province of Salamanca.
Day 9: End of Highlights of Spain & Portugal trip
After a fun-filled nine days road trip, today is the last day of your Spain and Portugal Tour. This morning you will depart from Slaamca and travel through the city of Avila, notable for its Gothic and Romanesque churches. Then, you will continue our journey to the capital, Madrid. And, after arriving in Madrid in the afternoon, your tour will complete here. Then, you will leave for your international flight or train transfer to your hometown.
