Day 1: Arrival in Ljubljana, Skocjan Caves, Goriskaa Brda
Holiday in Slovenia with a joyful time. We will pick you up at the Ljubljana airport. After a short transfer, your first stop is Skocjan caves regional park. After that, you will head to Goriska Brda.
Then after dinner, you will enjoy a welcome dinner with delicious local and traditional dishes and head to tour the family’s wine cellar.
Day 2: The Vipava valley and the Karst region
After breakfast, you will be taken to Goce to learn about the history of Vipava valley. Then after having lunch, you will take a short drive to the Karst wine-growing region. Walk to the medieval village of Stangel and taste the homemade prosciutto and local Teran wine-ruby red wine.
Day 3: Wine tasting, cooking class
Your third day of the trip starts with a visit to one of the 2015 Best 100 Wineries in the World selected by the magazine Wine and Spirits. You will enjoy the wine and a light lunch while overlooking the Medina vineyards.
After that, your first cookery class starts, focusing on cooking typical Slovenian and Goriska Brda dishes. After the cooking class, you will sit on the terrace and enjoy your prepared meal.
Day 4: Exploring Brda, Cooking class
You will start your day at Bobrovo castle and pass through the village of Medina. Today you will lookout tower at Gonjace and visit Smartno. After lunch, you will discover the oldest cellars in Slovenia.
Day 5:Kobarid and Soca river valley
It’s a day trip to the beautiful Soca River. You will visit and explore the most beautiful places like Kozjak waterfalls, the Museum of WWI, the Cheese Museum, etc.
Day 6: Slovenian Istria ad Piran
Today you will spend your day on the Slovenian coast and discover the historical gourmet delights. You will explore the places like old Piran town and the coastline of the Adriatic sea. Then you come back to Goriska Brda for an overnight stay
Day 7: Breakfast in the vineyard and Last Dinner
After breakfast, you can go for a short walk through the stunning vineyards and orchards. Today is a free day to relax and explore the city as you like. Lastly, dinner will be served in the Brda countryside.
Day 8: Departure, Ljubljana
