Day 1: Arriving in Kathmandu and Staying at Kapan Monastery
The Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour is an amazing trip that takes you to the spiritual centres where Buddhism meditates. To take you from Tribhuvan International Airport, our team of World Tour Management will be there to take you, and they will take you to the Kapan Monastery. On this day, you will stay overnight in the monastery.
Day 2: Spend a full day sightseeing
On this day, our whole journey will be about sightseeing in the valley of Kathmandu. Most importantly, we will visit the popularly famous worldwide Buddhist sites like Kapan Monastery, which is also taken as an important place for Buddhist teachings and philosophy. Also, the Boudhanath, one of the largest and oldest monasteries of Buddhism, similar to Swayambhunath, is named the Monkey temple. After sightseeing at all these Buddhist places, we will go to Namobuddha, which is about 45 kilometres from Kathmandu. Then, we will stay overnight in Namobuddha.
Day 3: Meditating in Namobuddha
Today, we will meditate in Namobuddha. Namo Buddha is called Tagmologin by Buddhists. It is a place where people believe that the Lord of light, Buddha sacrificed his body to the hungry tigress and her cubs. Then, we will stay overnight in the house of the monastery.
Day 4: Drive to Kathmandu
After exploring Namobuddha and having a complete peace day meditating, we will return to Kathmandu and check in at the previous hotel. Also, in the remaining time, you can enjoy your leisure time by shopping, eating or exploring the nearest Buddhist monasteries inside the valley.
Day 5: Flying to Bhairahawa
After having our morning breakfast, we will go for our scheduled flight to Bhairahawa and then drive to Lumbini. After reaching our destination, Lumbini, we will surely also explore and visit places near Lumbini and stay overnight in the nearest hotel if there is enough time.
Day 6: Lumbini Touring
Today, our journey will be all about exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lumbini, the birthplace of the light of the world. On this day, our exploration is mostly about touring the sacred garden, Asoka pillar, Maya Devi, and the Monastery zone, where various countries have developed numerous monasteries for their recognition. We will stay in Lumbini overnight.
Day 7: Come to Bhairahawa and take a flight to Kathmandu
After visiting Lumbini Monastery Areas and Lumbini Village, we will return to bhairahawa and take our scheduled flight to Kathmandu. We will stay overnight in a Kathmandu hotel on the last night of the trip.
Day 8: End of Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour
