Day 1: Athens - Kalambaka
The best of Northern Greece Tour is the perfect opportunity to explore world-renowned destinations like Macedonia etc.
Our team will pick you up from a selected area of Athens and drive through the plan of the Betia region, passing by Levadia and through the beautiful village of Arachova, arriving in Delphi and exploring the Archaeological site. Then depart for Kalambaka and stay overnight there.
Day 2: Meteora - Thessaloniki
Today you will visit Meteroa's renowned destinations, drive through Thessaly and the valley of Tempi and admire the figure of Mount Olympos. Then in the evening you will arrive in Thessaloniki and stay overnight.
Day 3: Explore Thessaloniki
In the morning, visit Thessaloniki. Today you will see and explore unique monuments, the Museum of Byzantine culture, and most characteristics churches of the Christian world, etc. Then the rest of the day is free to enjoy time on your own.
Day 4: Explore Macedonia
Depart in the morning to explore historical Macedonia. Your today's significant visits are Aristotle's School, Verina's unique Museum, and findings from the tomb of King Phillip II.
After reaching Veria, you will visit Saint Paul's Bema and stroll through the Old Jewish neighbourhood and colourful market area. Then return to Thessaloniki for an overnight stay.
Day 5: End of Best of Northern Greece Tour - 5 Days
Drive to Pella, where you will view the exquisite floor mosaics and Museum. Your visits here are Archeological Park of Dion, see Leonidas' monument, etc. You will reach Athens in the afternoon.
